The ‘Dog House Sofa’ by Korean designer Seungji Mun, who also designed a cat tunnel sofa, is a piece of furniture for both dogs and their owners. At the side of the sofa, there is a hidden cushioned dog house. The functional wooden top can also be used as a coffee table.
Freshome notes that the modern couch is made of ash wood and comfy fabric. By building them their own house within the couch, this provides a solution for keeping dogs off the couch. The designer believes that combining the sofa and dog house delivers a “new space of communication between human and pet.”
