Gucci partnered with bicycle maker Bianchi to produce an 11-speed carbon urban bike that costs R120,000. The collaboration joined two uniquely Italian traditions of design and craftsmanship, from leaders in their respective industries.
Designed by Gucci’s creative director, Frida Giannini, the matte black carbon fiber bike features the fashion label’s signature green-red-green web stripe, a ‘Bianchi by Gucci’ logo on the seat and frame, and handlebars that recall the iconic diamante pattern.
Giannini also designed a series of accessories to complement the bicycle, including a helmet (R7700), gloves (R2650), and a water bottle (R900).
